I really need to fix my camera and take better pictures of my work! I'll put better pics up soon- this one taken with a webcam!
discoballbreaker is a music appreciation blog run by producer/blogger/media personality Simone Sebastian. She's recently begun to host music meets art house parties with DJ Solo and James Clar who you may know by now from earlier posts on this blog.
The third installation of discoballbreaker parties features cellophane and light 'people' installations' by James Clar, live visuals also by James Clar, sound by Simone and DJ Solo and 2 live murals- one each by UBIK and myself. We'll definitely be making an appearance at the next discoballbreaker event so keep an eye out for us!
The piece I created is called 'Slime Girls' Day at the Beach' and is inspired by a friend who has me wishing I was on a beach somewhere cooler. It's the largest solo piece I've ever done at 6.5 ft x 5.5 ft. It doesn't sound very big but trust me it is MASSIVE. It's currently dominating my living area although it's been reserved by a buyer so it shall soon leave me space for the next massive cardboard mural! :)
